Holland America Line has unveiled its 2027 Canada & New England season, featuring immersive voyages that highlight the region’s iconic lighthouses, national parks, and rich culinary traditions. With new itineraries and expanded offerings, the line provides travelers with the perfect blend of scenic cruising, cultural exploration, and onboard experiences.

From May to October, the Volendam and Zuiderdam will operate 20 voyages across 13 itineraries, ranging from seven to 14 days. Guests can experience UNESCO World Heritage sites, historic ports, and fall foliage, with nearly every cruise including St. Lawrence River scenic cruising and stops at Montréal or Québec City.

A highlight of the season is the new “9-Day Lighthouses & Harbors of Canada and New England” itinerary aboard Volendam, departing Oct. 2, 2027. Guests will visit up to 10 iconic lighthouses, including Maine’s Portland Head Light and Nova Scotia’s Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse, along with stops at Halifax, Charlottetown, and Bar Harbor.

For a deeper dive into Canadian culture, the “10-Day Canada & New England Circle: New France and Montreal” itinerary explores Québec City, Saguenay, Prince Edward Island, St. Pierre, and St. John’s, offering rich historical and natural experiences. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy the “11-Day Canada & New England Circle: Maritimes and New France”, visiting five national parks, including Gros Morne, Jacques-Cartier, and Saguenay Fjord, while stopping at ports like Corner Brook, St. Anthony, and Baie-Comeau.

Guests also benefit from immersive regional experiences onboard, such as Destination Dining, featuring local flavors like Maine lobster, PEI mussels, poutine, and Boston cream pie. Onshore excursions allow travelers to connect with local farmers, artisans, and fishermen, enhancing the cultural authenticity of the voyages.
