HAL Extends 2026 Europe Season with New Late-Year Voyages

Holland America Line is extending its 2026 Europe season by six weeks, offering four new itineraries for guests wishing to explore the continent later in the year. These late-season sailings will take place aboard the Nieuw Statendam, operating roundtrip or one-way from Rotterdam.
“Cruises rooted in the culture and history of Europe are proving to be popular with our guests,” said Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment for Holland America Line. “Extending the season means more opportunities to enjoy our personalized service in the region.”
A highlight among the new offerings is a special 14-day Arctic Journey and Northern Lights voyage, departing November 7, 2026, in partnership with THE HISTORY Channel. This itinerary ventures into the Arctic Circle, providing prime conditions to witness the aurora borealis during what is expected to be a peak year for Northern Lights activity.
Other newly opened sailings include:
-
14-day Mediterranean and Atlantic Treasures, featuring an overnight in Lisbon
-
Seven-day Norway with Nordfjord
-
15-day Cultural Crossing, visiting England and Normandy
For a limited time, guests booking these cruises with the “Have It All” premium package will receive added benefits such as free prepaid crew appreciation, upgrades to the Elite Beverage Package, and premium Wi-Fi.
