Princess Cruises has announced the cancellation of all sailings from Galveston scheduled between March 2026 and March 2027. A total of 15 cruises aboard Majestic Princess have been scrapped as the ship is set to be redeployed elsewhere, according to Seatrade Cruise News.

Despite Galveston’s status as the fourth busiest cruise port in North America, Princess Cruises stated that the decision is part of its global fleet deployment strategy. The cruise line expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and emphasized its commitment to enhancing its worldwide offerings.

Passengers affected by the cancellations have been issued full refunds, and Princess is assisting travelers with alternative options, including other departures from Galveston and Caribbean itineraries.

While Majestic Princess will no longer sail from Texas, Regal Princess will continue operating from Galveston as planned between fall 2025 and mid-March 2026.
