Expo Spa 2022, A Weekend Devoted to Wellness Tourism

On May 27, 28 and 29, the World Trade Center in Mexico City hosted the Latin American Spa Congress (Expo Spa 2022), an event organized by the Latin American Spa Association.

During the congress, various presentations were given on topics of administrative interest and updates on new therapies, treatments and new developments in the spa industry, with prominent national and international speakers, as well as Master Conferences.

Expo Spa Mexico is aimed at manufacturers and distributors of products and services for spas, gyms, sports clubs, beauty centers, esthetic clinics and hotels. 

With 100 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors, this great event also allowed attendees to speak directly with the most important directors, managers and investors in the sector. As an event, Expo Spa has the support of various institutions, such as the Mexican Ministry of Tourism.

Among the speakers who animated this edition of Expo Sap were Angie Velázquez, Mónica Rivera, Citlahly Chavez, Mónica Silva, Dr. Celeste Miró, Laurent Dupont, María Alejandra Portal and Adriana Luna Vázquez. There was a special presentation by Dr. Ramón de la Rosa on the history of wellness tourism.

The Asociación Latinoamericana de Spa, A.C., based in Mexico City, is a civil association whose main purpose is to promote the healthy growth of the spa industry. It brings together different sectors of the industry, such as spas, suppliers, national and international associations, schools, institutes, therapists, the media, investors and government institutions.

For the past eight years, the association has been organizing events such as Expo Spa, Expo Spa Caribe, symposiums, the Latin American Spa Congress, the International Medical Spa Congress, introductory courses on the spa business, as well as providing certifications for spa managers.
