The 44th edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair organised by IFEMA MADRID will be attended by Red.es, an entity attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence.

FITUR 2024, organised by IFEMA MADRID from 24 to 28 January, announces the participation of Red.es, an entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service through the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence.

Red.es will be present at FITUR (Stand 10B01A) with the aim of providing advice and information on the Kit Digital programme to SMEs and freelancers attending the event. The Digital Kit Programme is a Spanish Government initiative managed by Red.es that seeks to promote the digitalisation of small businesses, micro-enterprises and the self-employed, thus contributing to the modernisation of the Spanish productive fabric. Its vocation is to provide this important segment of the Spanish economy with digital tools and to accompany them in the adoption of basic digitalisation solutions to increase their competitiveness.

The programme has a budget of around €3 billion, backed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Digital Spain 2026 agenda and the SME Digitalisation Plan 2021-2025.

In September 2023, a new call for applications was opened for communities of property, professional civil societies, civil societies with commercial activity and jointly owned agricultural holdings.
