The president of the Ibero-American Gastronomy Academy, Rafael Ansón, and Charo Trabado, CEO, RMP & Co-founder of GSAR Marketing | MITM Events, signed Monday a collaboration agreement to boost and develop the scope of the Ibero-American culture and gastronomy.

This will be achieved through the celebration of CULTOURFAIR within the frame of the celebration of the “Capitales Iberoamericanas de la Cultura Gastronómica”.

As part of this agreement, both institutions agreed to boost up the promotion of Ibero-American destinations by the hand of gastro-cultural and travel-oriented terms. Since this year Madrid is the Ibero-American Capital of Gastronomic Culture, this will be no doubt the ideal venue to host CULTOURFAIR 2020.

During the signing of this agreement, Rafael Ansón mentioned that “a trade show such as CULTOURFAIR, the only in the world specialized in cultural tourism and exclusively aimed at professionals, is the ideal scenario to proclaim that gastronomy is culture and an essential element in tourism.”

Furthermore, he highlighted that “this agreement is the starting point to develop this and other cultural, gastronomic and tourism promotional events in the future designation of Ibero-American capitals of Gastronomic Culture.”

“For MITM Events its and honor to sign this agreement with AIGB to continue with the promotion and spread of the Ibero-American culture throughout the world as we have been doing over the past 30 years.”
