Seatrade Cruise Global 2025 marked its 40th anniversary with a highly successful edition at the Miami Beach Convention Center, gathering more than 11,500 attendees from 128 countries and over 75 cruise brands.

This year’s event brought together top cruise line executives, industry professionals, and 600+ exhibitors, who explored new technologies and future strategies for the cruise industry. Chiara Giorgi, Global Brand Director, praised the edition as the most inspiring yet, noting the energy and commitment of participants to shaping the industry's future.

Under the theme "Milestones," the event featured 87 conference sessions and 290 expert speakers discussing the transformation of the cruise industry. Highlights included the opening session, "The State of the Global Cruise Industry," which drew more than 2,500 delegates. Moderated by Anne Kalosh, the panel included leaders from CLIA, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, and Carnival Corporation, who addressed topics such as AI innovation, sustainable fuels, destination management, and Asia's growing influence in the market.

A strong focus on developing future talent was evident with initiatives like Tomorrow’s Talent Today, a program for students and professionals in HR, training, and recruitment. Another key highlight was the revamped 20 Under 40 Program, recognizing young professionals under 40 who have made a notable impact in the cruise sector. These initiatives underscored the industry's commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.

The Exhibition Hall showcased pioneering solutions from more than 600 global brands, many of which have already confirmed their return in 2026. Notable participants included Fincantieri, DNV, DOF Robotics, and Ports of Spain. A new feature this year was the Entertainment Showcase, where performers presented live acts to cruise line executives, in collaboration with major talent agencies, offering a fresh spotlight on onboard entertainment.

Seatrade Cruise Global also featured Retail Days, held in partnership with The Moodie Davitt Report, spotlighting the growing role of onboard retail in guest experience and revenue generation. In addition to panels and exhibitions, the event offered abundant networking opportunities, such as the Matchmaking Lounge and the festive "Cruisin’ Like it’s 1985" Welcome Party. The event reaffirmed its position as the premier hub for innovation and collaboration in the cruise industry. The next edition is scheduled for April 13-16, 2026, again in Miami.
