AC Hotels by Marriott Debuts Custom Cava Experience Across Select U.S. and Canada Properties
AC Hotels by Marriott has launched a unique, customizable Cava experience at select locations in the U.S. and Canada, bringing a taste of Spain’s renowned sparkling wine to guests. Available at the AC Lounge bar, this new program invites guests to craft their own Cava cocktails or enjoy expertly curated Mediterranean-inspired drinks.
The Cava program reflects the Spanish heritage of the AC Hotels brand, founded in Spain in 1999, and aims to offer an authentic European experience. Signature elements like Spanish-inspired breakfasts and tapas complement this new Cava offering, which includes five custom cocktail options crafted with ingredients such as bitters, fresh garnishes, and flavors like lavender, rhubarb, and olive.
Guests can choose from five distinctive recipes:
- Classic: Angostura bitters with a lemon twist for a hint of spice and earthy complexity.
- Hawaiian: Tiki bitters and dehydrated pineapple for a tropical burst.
- Rhubarb: Rhubarb bitters with dehydrated strawberry for a fruity complement.
- Lavender: Lavender bitters with floral accents, creating a calm, refreshing profile.
- Barcelona: Olive bitters and olives, offering a savory, European aperitif style.

Whyte, Global Brand Leader for AC Hotels by Marriott, shared that the program is a nod to both guest interests and the brand’s Spanish roots. “Our Cava offerings bring a slice of Spain to guests, reflecting the birthplace of AC Hotels and providing a unique experience that celebrates Spanish sparkling wine.”
The customizable Cava experience is now available at 11 locations and is expected to expand worldwide by 2025. Current participating properties include AC Hotels in Vancouver, Bridgewater, Waco, and other major cities.
