Beaches Resorts has unveiled a nearly $1 billion expansion plan to double its footprint over the next five years, introducing three new resorts across three islands and a significant upgrade to its flagship property in Turks and Caicos. The ambitious growth strategy, announced by Executive Chairman Adam Stewart, reinforces the brand’s commitment to delivering world-class family-friendly vacation experiences.

Among the new destinations, Beaches Barbados will mark the brand’s debut in the country, joining its sister properties Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados. The resort, set to break ground in late 2025, will feature 600 rooms, including expansive four-bedroom suites with private oceanfront balconies. Guests can enjoy a vibrant 'Main Street' with dining, shopping, and entertainment, catering to families seeking dynamic, multigenerational travel experiences.

Beaches Resorts is also making its first foray into The Bahamas with Beaches Exuma, a transformation of the existing Sandals Emerald Bay property. The 500-acre resort will be reconfigured to offer multi-bedroom villa suites, 12 dining options, a Kids Camp, a Sesame Street® partnership, and access to the Greg Norman-designed Emerald Bay Golf Course. The resort aims to showcase Exuma’s stunning turquoise waters as its central attraction.

In Jamaica, Beaches Runaway Bay will be strategically positioned between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, offering approximately 400 suites and villas designed for extended families. Unique amenities will include skateboarding and bike trails, a climbable treehouse, and access to the Runaway Bay Golf Club. The resort will emphasize wellness and farm-to-table dining, enriching the guest experience.

Meanwhile, Beaches Turks and Caicos is set to open its brand-new Treasure Beach Village, adding 101 multi-bedroom suites, a 15,000-square-foot pool, and the brand’s first-ever international food hall. The expansion will bring the resort’s total capacity to 858 keys, solidifying its status as a premier family destination in the Caribbean.

These developments follow recent enhancements to Beaches Negril in Jamaica, where the new Firesky Reserve Villas and Eventide Penthouse Collection now welcome larger family groups with luxurious accommodations. “Our expansion is driven by the needs of our guests, who seek deeper connections and unforgettable shared experiences,” Stewart stated. “We are excited to redefine family travel with these exceptional new offerings.”
