Blue Diamond Resorts Partners with HBS to Elevate Hospitality Talent in Mexico

Blue Diamond Resorts has announced a strategic partnership with HBS (Hospitality Business School America) to launch international certification programs in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management for its team members in Mexico. The agreement was formalized during a ceremony held at the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, underscoring the company’s commitment to talent development and service excellence.
HBS serves as the official representative in Mexico of VET (Vocational Education and Training) offered by École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the globally renowned hospitality school. Through this partnership, an initial cohort of 20 employees from Blue Diamond’s resort portfolio will participate in a 12-month program designed to strengthen practical skills, operational leadership, and adherence to international service standards.
“This partnership reflects our long-term vision of elevating hospitality from within,” said Daniel Lozano, Senior Vice President of Operations at Blue Diamond Resorts. “By investing in internationally recognized training, we empower our associates and enhance the quality and consistency of the guest experience.”
The program features weekly in-person classes, integrated with the participants’ existing work schedules. Coursework is tailored to the real-life operational environments of Blue Diamond Resorts, ensuring the direct application of skills on the job and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
This initiative not only promotes personal and professional growth but also aims to build operational excellence across the brand. It aligns with Blue Diamond Resorts’ broader strategy to develop talent internally, open new career opportunities, and raise the standard for all-inclusive hospitality in the region.
