Candelero Beach Resort in Puerto Rico Joins the Wyndham Portfolio

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts added the remodeled Candelero Beach Resort to its brand portfolio in Puerto Rico.

The resort joins several other Wyndham properties on the island, including the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar, TRYP by Wyndham in San Juan and three Howard Johnson properties in San Juan, Ponce and Mayaguez.

The 107-room, Spanish-style Candelero property in Palmas del Mar in Humacao is an hour from San Juan. It originally opened in the 1970s, but it was damaged in the 2017 hurricanes and recently reopened after extensive remodeling.

Candelero offers guests the option of an all-inclusive plan or a room-only European Plan.

Facilities include eight restaurants and bars, two golf courses, a tennis complex, a beach and marina, a new pool area and a wine store.
