Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo has announced the return of its highly anticipated Visiting Wellness Practitioners Residency Program for 2025. Now in its second year, this pioneering initiative continues to redefine the luxury wellness experience, offering a diverse range of healing and self-discovery practices within the peaceful sanctuary of the resort’s Wellness Shala.

The Wellness Shala, a newly unveiled space designed to foster transformation, is inspired by the natural flow of Guanacaste’s winds and was conceptualized by Mexican architects Luis Alejandro Cuesta and Javier Creuheras. The serene structure is designed to provide a peaceful environment where guests can embark on profound journeys of self-discovery and personal growth.

The 2025 Visiting Wellness Practitioners Residency Program kicks off in January with Koya Webb, an internationally renowned yoga instructor, holistic health coach, and advocate for sustainable living. Webb will blend mindfulness, energy work, and plant-based nutrition, offering a holistic approach to wellness. In February, Kristyna Paulus, an expert in yoga philosophy and Ayurveda, will provide guests with a personalized yoga therapy experience.

The program will continue throughout the year with a variety of distinguished wellness practitioners, each offering their expertise in different modalities. From Rashia Bell’s crystal healing ceremonies in April to Daniel Byrne’s sound healing journeys in March, and Alejandra Ulate’s acroyoga and mantra singing in June, each residency promises a unique and deeply personalized experience.

Arnaud Dieutegard, Senior Director of Spa at Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo, shares, "The program spans a broad spectrum of wellness disciplines—from sound healing and breathwork to yoga therapy and energy practices—curated to meet the evolving needs of our guests." He also highlights that the program features renowned experts from four continents, working alongside local talents, to create a safe and transformative space for guests to explore diverse modalities and achieve balance.

General Manager Ian Robert Caparra emphasizes that the residency program is a reflection of Four Seasons' dedication to providing exceptional, life-enriching experiences. "Through the expertise and vision of these distinguished practitioners, our guests are invited to embark on transformative journeys that go far beyond relaxation, inspiring profound personal growth and a renewed sense of harmony," Caparra states.

This year’s program beautifully combines ancient traditions with modern wellness techniques, exemplifying the resort's unwavering commitment to holistic well-being. Each residency aims to enhance guests’ physical vitality, emotional clarity, and spiritual growth, all while being surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of Costa Rica's lush coastline.
