Marriott Marks 9,000th Property with St. Regis Longboat Key Opening

Marriott International has reached a significant milestone with the opening of its 9,000th property, The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort in Florida.
This luxury beachfront resort, set on 18 acres in Longboat Key, offers 168 guestrooms, including 26 suites, all with stunning ocean views. It also features 69 private branded residences, reflecting the elegance and exceptional service synonymous with the St. Regis brand.
Developed by Unicorp National Developments and designed by SB Architects, the resort represents the largest development on Longboat Key in over 50 years. Marriott’s President and CEO, Anthony Capuano, expressed pride in this achievement, highlighting the resort's embodiment of the brand’s commitment to luxury and personalized service.
The opening was celebrated with the St. Regis champagne sabrage in the resort’s Great Hall, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. This property further cements Marriott's leadership in the luxury segment, with 522 luxury hotels in 72 countries and a robust pipeline of future projects.
The resort's 69 private residences, which sold out within a year, offer luxurious living spaces with private terraces and elevator access. Marriott now has 139 branded residential properties worldwide, with more in development.
The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort is now open for bookings on Marriott's website and participates in the Marriott Bonvoy® program. To commemorate the opening, Marriott is offering 9,000 Bonvoy points to members who book a stay by August 18.
