Marriott Opens 500th Property in the Caribbean

Marriott International has announced the debut of Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres, Adult All-Inclusive, marking its 500th property in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region.

Located on the pristine shores of Isla Mujeres, this luxury all-inclusive resort caters exclusively to adults, providing a sophisticated retreat with 109 ocean-view suites, each featuring private balconies and refined amenities.

This milestone reinforces Marriott’s strategic growth in the luxury and all-inclusive segments, especially in sought-after locations like Isla Mujeres. “The opening of Almare as our 500th property in CALA highlights our commitment to meeting the needs of discerning travelers and expanding our luxury footprint in Mexico,” said Brian King, President, CALA, Marriott International. This resort joins Marriott’s luxury portfolio in the region, which includes 62 properties under brands like The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and JW Marriott.
