Meliá Hotels International Returns to Miami with Branded Residences

Meliá Hotels International has announced its return to Miami with the launch of Meliá Miami Brickell, the company’s first Branded Residences project in the United States. Developed in partnership with Urban Network Capital Group, this ambitious initiative introduces an innovative urban living concept that combines luxury hotel experiences with residential ownership in the heart of Brickell’s financial district.
Located at 1120 SW 3rd Avenue, near the I-95 and the renowned Brickell City Centre, the complex will feature 110 luxury residences blending comfort, wellness, and the brand’s signature services. This approach transforms traditional urban living, offering homeowners the benefits of a high-end hotel right in their own home.
Each residence has been meticulously designed with high-quality linens, custom furniture, and curated artwork, reflecting Meliá’s holistic wellness philosophy. Residents will have access to exclusive amenities, including an infinity pool, wellness center, personalized concierge services, and fine dining experiences, all within a sophisticated and intimate environment.
The design of the common areas is entrusted to the acclaimed Adriana Hoyos Design Studio, while the residences themselves are developed by Concepto Taller de Arquitectura | Interior Design, achieving a balance of contemporary style, functionality, and comfort. The aesthetic merges modern elegance with Latin American cultural richness, present in every detail.
This launch reinforces Meliá’s global strategy to expand its Branded Residences portfolio, a model already implemented at ME Dubai and Gran Meliá Villa Le Corail, with ongoing projects in Seychelles and Montenegro. It also strengthens the chain’s presence in the U.S., joining INNSiDE New York and Meliá Orlando Celebration.
“This project allows us to consolidate our entry into the North American Branded Residences market, offering a unique combination of hospitality and luxury residential ownership. It is an opportunity to position ourselves as a reference in a rapidly growing sector,” said Gabriel Escarrer, President and CEO of Meliá Hotels International.
Owners at Meliá Miami Brickell will have the option to participate in a hotel management program, allowing their units to be rented when not in use. This flexible model maximizes profitability, providing a personal retreat while generating income from luxury accommodation for international travelers—seamlessly combining investment and exclusive lifestyle.
