Riu Plaza Chicago to Feature Eye-Popping Rooftop Terrace
The construction of the 28-story building that will house the future Riu Plaza Chicago hotel is progressing, with several floors already raised above ground, and details of this new major project of the hotel chain in the United States are beginning to emerge.
Among them is the design of the future sky bar, which will be on the 26th floor and will offer splendid views of the city. In the images that have just been presented, you can see the terrace that will also have a dizzying protagonist: the glass balcony suspended 88 meters high. The bravest guests will be able to enjoy views of the heart of the city from the transparent balcony, which will allow them to see everything that is happening below their feet.
The future hotel, scheduled to open in 2024, will have a 4-star category and will be located at 150 East Ontario Street, in the Streeterville neighborhood, very close to the popular Magnificent Mile shopping area, near the famous Navy Pier and bathed to the south by the Chicago River and to the east by Lake Michigan. The Riu Plaza Chicago, which will have 390 rooms, completes RIU's offer in the country, where it already has Riu Plaza hotels in Miami, San Francisco and New York.
