Zemi Beach House in Anguilla, a member of Hilton's LXR Hotels & Resorts, has temporarily shut its doors through March. The property had reopened in December following a shutdown since last spring due to the pandemic.

"After a difficult year, and reviewing the current state of travel to Anguilla and globally, we have decided to temporarily suspend operations at Zemi Beach House though March 31," said general manager Paulo Paias.

Reservations will be accepted for stays beginning April 1 during the shutdown period, according to Paias. Guests holding current reservations have the option to reschedule and travel at a later date in the year. If guests decide to cancel and have already made a deposit, the deposits will be fully refunded, Paias said.

The 65-room luxury, beachfront resort, located on Shoal Bay East on the north coast of the island, originally opened in February 2015. The property was damaged in Hurricane Irma in September 2017 but reopened the following February.
