Holland America Creates Sales Tools, Promotions for WLCN

Holland America Line will offer special promotions and an online Caribbean sales kit to support CLIA’s fifth annual World’s Largest Cruise Night on Oct. 13. Special cruise value fares will be announced through the line’s “Three-Day Sale” emails to travel sellers for cruises to the Panama Canal, Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Alaska, South America and holiday destinations.

And by signing up for a “Holland America Line Cruise Sale” event in advance through their sales representative, travel sellers also are entitled to receive an On-Board Value Booklet worth hundreds of dollars off shipboard services for each client booking a stateroom. Additional marketing support includes customizable emails, flyers and website banner ads to promote the value of Caribbean cruising this fall. In addition, Holland America Line has scheduled several “On Stage Alaska” multi-media Alaska presentations with travel sellers for WLCN. The line’s Explorer motor coaches, decorated with Alaska wildlife and nature scenes, will visit some retail locations to promote Alaska cruise and cruise-tour vacations.

Aboard each of its 15 ships, the premium line will host a guest event during the WLCN promotion. Guests who book onboard will receive shipboard credits that can be combined with group amenities or cruise night offers. Deposits are only $100 per person for cruises of seven to 36 days. All travel sellers will receive credit and full commission on all future bookings made aboard ships.
