Planners are giving the finishing touches to the fifteen edition of the Jamaica Product Exchange (JAPEX), a fair scheduled to take place from May 2 to 4 this year at the Half Moon Resort in Montego Bay.

JAPEX came into being in 1990 in an effort to provide both wholesale buyers and tour operators with a professional framework for business exchanges and meetings in which they can cut deals with all major suppliers of Jamaica’s travel industry.

The event, a project of the Jamaica Hotel Association and the island nation’s Tourism Board, is enthusiastically backed up by all Jamaican institutions involved in the development, advertisement and sale of tourist products made in the country.

For two days, providers of tourist products and services from the turf will huddle with 200 tour operators, as well as wholesale buyers and sellers from elsewhere around the globe that are specifically interested in Jamaica.
