Amadeus Hellas Held 2005 Regional Summit in Greece

Amadeus, global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, held its 2005 Central, Eastern and Southern European (CESE) regional meeting in Athens last week. Eighteen Amadeus General Managers representing 31 countries convened in the Divani Apollon hotel for a three-day analysis of the state of the market.

A key objective of the meeting was the refinement of Amadeus strategic approach to this diverse region. From disintermediation to online distribution and productivity, travel agencies and airlines alike are being forced to adjust to the increasingly demanding traveler.
