American Express Predicts Strong Summer Cruise Demand

Cruising is in high demand this summer according to a recent American Express Travel Summer Travel Trends Survey, which queried 276 American Express Travel Counselors.

American Express reports that one third (32%) of counselors noted that clients are booking cruise experiences (higher than the overall demand for any other vacation experience).

With summer vacations already in high tide, American Express Travel says it is offering a variety of deals on nearly 20 top cruise lines through its Summer Cruise Sale.

Travelers who book online between June 1 and July 31, 2014 will receive a number of special perks through the sale including stateroom upgrades, shipboard credits, prepaid gratuities, spa vouchers and complimentary dinners, American Express said.
