Aruba’s Second Annual Music Festival scheduled for October

Aruba will once again hold the Second Annual Music Festival in October featuring the presentation of Rock ´n´ Roll Hall-of-Fame bands Crosby Stills and Nash and Chicago. CSN will be onstage on October 10 while Chicago will strike up the night after.

"We´re absolutely thrilled about making the Annual Music Festival in Aruba for a second year in a row. We want the local community and our incoming U.S. visitors to enjoy the music of their favorite rock bands. With a perfect weather and its breathtaking landscapes, Aruba really has what it takes to hold such a world-class event," said Edison Briesen, Aruba´s tourism and transportation minister.

Crosby Stills & Nash has long been recognized for its well-synced three-voice vocals and for being the only original American band from the times of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. The band is often penciled in as "The Voice of a Whole Generation." Some of its greatest hits include such blockbusters as Marrakesh Express, Helplessly Hoping, Dark Star and Just A Song Before I Go.

On the other hand, the larger-than-life band known as Chicago has written, recorded and sung one of the most listened-to and dear songs in the history of rock: Saturday In The Park. Other follow-ups have been 25 Or 6 To 4, If You Leave Me Now and Hard Habit To Break, plus other smash hits the multiple Grammy-award winning band has scored in its 36-year musical career. Up to now, Chicago´s hardworking band members have released 27 albums and have hit the road on a number of nonstop tours.
