Aruba gets set for FITUR 2004
Aruba, the sought-after travel destination of the West Indies, is making all preparations to showcase its offers and products at the 2004 International Tourism Fair (FITUR) scheduled from Jan. 28 to Feb. 1 next year in Spain’s Madrid.
This will be the 24th edition of a tradeshow that has gained momentum in the leisure industry worldwide with each passing year. Last year’s FITUR gathered 10,015 foreign companies clustered in an exhibition surface of 76,926 square meters.
During 2003 FITUR, as many as 97,570 tourism experts from 170 countries visited stands and pavilions, let alone 112,903 visitors who clicked the turnstiles.
These results put FITUR high on the list of the world’s finest tools for both the marketing and promotion of the tourist industry.
The 24th edition of FITUR will add more space for international companies at Pavilion 2 by grouping offers and products in geographical areas and making tours around the premises far more rational and time-saving.
