Aruba Hotelier to Speak About Best Practices during Third Green Globe World Summit in Paris
Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts owner and Chief Environmental Officer (CEO), Ewald Biemans, will be a featured speaker and panelist during the Green Globe Summit taking place May 27-30, 2011 in Paris, France. This global event brings together the world’s most important thinkers, industry leaders and activists to present their ideas, innovations and best practices for a more sustainable tourism industry.
During the summit, Mr. Biemans will explain the importance and benefits of sustainability certification for the operation and global marketing of a hotel, and the ways in which Green Globe helps maintain the resort’s prominence in a competitive market place. Mr. Biemans has spearheaded sustainable tourism efforts in Aruba for the past 25 years.
