BWIA Chief to Close October CTO Conference in the Bahamas

Peter Davies, CEO of BWIA, will deliver the closing address at the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s 29th annual Caribbean Tourism Conference slated for October 22 to 25 on Grand Bahama Island, the Bahamas.

Mr. Davies will address the state of the Caribbean airline industry as well as the changes taking place at BWIA as it moves into the new Caribbean Airlines on January 1.

Mr. Davies was named CEO of BWIA last March and will oversee the shutdown of BWIA by December 31 and the start of the new carrier. Prior to joining BWIA, Mr. Davies served as CEO of SN Brussels Airlines for three years.
