Caribbean investors to meet in Bermudas
The Bermudas Islands will host the 7th Annual Conference on Caribbean Hotels and Tourism Investment scheduled for April 1 to 3, 2003 with the attendance of government representatives, members of the tourist industry and investors.
The tripartite meeting in Hamilton, the Bermudas capital, is aimed at ratcheting up investment on the so-called leisure industry and raising operational expectations in the entire region.
According to the meeting planners, the annual conference will offer better chances this time around to clear up the minds of those willing to pour their money in the Caribbean.
The Caribbean Hotel Association and the Caribbean Tourism Organization summoned the meeting and outlined the lectures to be dictated during the course of the event.
Tourism stands for the number-one income source for most Caribbean nations, including Bermudas, a U.K. colony since 1684.
