Caribbean Wedding Added Romance to Caribbean Fair in New York
Nothing tugs at the heart strings like a wedding. And nothing feeds the soul and creates joy like a Caribbean wedding. Well, thousands of New Yorkers and visitors to the “Big Apple” got to experience the joy and romance of a Caribbean wedding in the heart of New York City.
There was romance in the air when Leticia Young and Raymond Mohan exchange vows in a live Caribbean wedding at Vanderbilt Hall, Grand Central. The two were selected after a contest that was promoted on http://www.MarryCaribbean.com, twitter, Facebook, and other social networks. Couples were required to write in about how they met and why the Caribbean was their dream honeymoon destination.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Mr. Mohan is a highly esteemed Caribbean Executive Chef. He is presently the Executive Chef of the landmark restaurant - The Coffee Shop - in Union Square, Manhattan and commands a kitchen staff of over 100 people.
The wedding was planned by MarryCaribbean.com, the Internet’s most complete listing of Caribbean destination wedding and honeymoon resources, as part of the schedule of activities for Caribbean Week in New York organized by the Caribbean Tourism Organization.
