CHA Top Kicks Visited Aruba on Eve of Caribbean Marketplace

Two prominent Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA) officials, Vanessa Ledesma and Loraine Ortiz, visited Aruba for a number of days in preparation for the upcoming Caribbean Marketplace, a premier tourism event taking place in Aruba from January 14 to 16 next year.

Mrs. Ledesma, Director of Meetings and Mrs. Ortiz, Director of Public Relations, said this will be the 28th edition of the marketplace, expected to attract 2,000 delegates, among them Caribbean hoteliers and tour operators from around the globe.

The event, owned and managed by the CHA, will unfold with the help of AHATA, the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association, ATA, the Aruba Tourism Authority and the island nation’s Ministry of Tourism.

The CHA marketplace comes at the heels of the GOGO Leaning Conference in October which drew some 600 premier travel agents from the GOGO network, a major supplier from North American to the island.
