China’s Gran Meliá Chengdu to Open in 2021

Meliá Hotels International has announced the signing of Gran Meliá Chengdu in partnership with Chengdu Renju Tourism & Hospitality.

Gran Meliá Chengdu will become the third Gran Meliá property in China and Meliá Hotel International’s eleventh property in the Chinese market.

Located in key destinations around the world, Gran Meliá is the most luxurious hotel brand in the Meliá Hotels International portfolio.

Gran Meliá is dedicated to a life well lived through the delivery of intuitive personal service, exceptional experiences and a modern expression of Spanish luxury.

Gran Meliá Chengdu will be situated northwest of JinCheng Lake Park, surrounded by greenery and with both lake and city views.

The property is destined to set the benchmark for urban luxury resorts in Chengdu and will become the primary choice for refined business and leisure travelers.

Scheduled to open in 2021, Gran Meliá Chengdu will blend history, luxury and avant-garde design both inside and out.

Gran Meliá Chengdu will be operated under a management agreement with Chengdu Renju Real Estate, the owner and investment enterprise of the property.
