Costa Rica to hold Travel Mart Latin America

San Jose._ Hundreds of representatives from all around the world will gather in Costa Rica this month during the Travel Mart Latin America, one of the continent’s major business events for the tourist sector.

The nation’s minister of tourism Ruben Pacheco announced the event will stretch out from September 26 to 27 in San Jose as part of the celebrations for the International Tourism Day, this time around hosted by Costa Rica.

As part of the festivities for the International Tourism Day, the country will also host the 3rd Meeting of the Sustainable Development Committee of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) from September 25 through 26.

Activities linked to the worldwide celebration also include a national congress on tourism in which authorities will unveil the sector’s development plan for the next 10 years, as well as the National Forum on Ecological Tourism, likewise aimed at defining a course of action in this field for coming years.
