COTAL at the Berlin ITB
The Confederation of Latin American Tourism Organizations (COTAL is the acronym in Spanish) will also make the most of the upcoming International Tourism Marketplace in Berlin. COTAL President Enzo Furnari will present a paper Saturday entitled Growth Chances for Latin America within the framework of the fair’s South American Forum.
On March 15, Mr. Furnari, together with Matias Prisco and Augusto Victorica, first vice president and deputy vice president of COTAL, respectively, will unveil the features of the oncoming COTAL Congress scheduled for this year in Cancun. Following this briefing, the officials will open the 28/29 Technical Hall and ICC Berlin Gallery. The opening ceremony will be attended by Cancun’s Tourism Secretary Darío Flota and his colleague from the state of Quintana Roo, Artemio Santos.
Simultaneously, COTAL members will participate in fair-related activities at Pavilion 3.1 / 116, where visitors will be given copies of the 2004 COTAL Latin America Guidebook, a volume packed with useful information of the confederation’s member states, similar organizations across the region and their associates.
