CTDC to Present Marketing Workshop in New York City
The Caribbean Tourism Development Company (CTDC) will present the annual Caribbean Marketing Workshop, Industry Leaders Panel and Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, June 13, at the New York Marriott Marquis as part of Caribbean Week 2007 in New York.
The event is being hosted by the Allied Members of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and the Association of Travel Marketing Executives (ATME). During the workshop, tourism practitioners, strategic partners and industry representatives will hear a keynote address focusing on The Changing Face of Travel Marketing.
The event will begin at 8 am with registration and breakfast followed by a keynote address by Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, Secretary General of CTO and joint Chief Executive Officer of the Caribbean Tourism Development Company.
A panel discussion, moderated by Glenn Bean, Director of Sales and Marketing, North America, Bermuda Department of Tourism, will include Senator Allen Chastanet, Minister of Tourism and Transportation St. Lucia and Chairman, CTO; Aloun N’Dombet-Assamba, Minister of Tourism, Entertainment and Culture, Jamaica; and Michelle Ebanks, President, ESSENCE Communications, Inc.
In a show of support from the state of New York, Lila Kirton, community affairs director for New York State Governor Eliot Spitzer, will be in attendance on behalf of the Governor.
