CTO President to Deliver Keynote Speech at 10th Annual Grand Bahama

On Thursday, February 21 Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, Secretary General of the Caribbean Tourism Organization will present his vision of Grand Bahama “Ten Years From Now” at the 10th Annual Grand Bahama Business Outlook to be held at the Westin Our Lucaya, Freeport.

Although Vanderpool-Wallace has spoken at many Outlooks in Nassau this will be his first time addressing Business Outlook in Grand Bahama.

Vanderpool-Wallace was appointed to the position of Secretary General of the Caribbean Tourism Organization in June 2005 after serving as Director General of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism for 12 years.

Themed “Investment and Innovation: Strategies for Grand Bahama’s Turnaround,” this year’s Grand Bahama Business Outlook is expected to provide insight into existing opportunities, improvements and changes that could help to shift Grand Bahama’s economy into high gear.

Other first time speakers will include the Hon. Neko Grant, Minister of Tourism and Aviation, Mike Murphy, Founding Director, The Harcourt Group, Gregory Moss, President of the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce, Jaime Vargas, Vice President of Operations, South Riding Point Holdings Ltd, and Jerry Butler, Caribbean Executive Director, Inter-American Development Bank.
