Cuba to host the International Hall on Tourism Technology, Products and Services
Fruitful exchanges and the indispensable firsthand look at technological breakthroughs for the tourist industry will be two top priorities for the upcoming 15th International Halls on Tourism Technology, Products and Services (TECNOTUR 2003) to be held at Havana’s PABEXPO Fairgrounds from May 27 to 30.
The chief sectors represented at the event are foodstuffs, agriculture, computers, communications, hotel design and building, consulting, kitchen equipment, audio and video technology, refrigeration, freezing technology and laundry.
Other sectors that have also rented stands are food and beverage makers, insurance companies, tourism transportation and services, manufacturers of cigars and related items for smokers, magazines and other specialized publications.
Attendants are entitled to travel with a tourist visa or of any other kind they could apply for at Cuban consulates in their respective countries.
As far as lodging is concerned, Havana’s International Conference Center has special discount offers at the PALCO Hotel, TECNOTUR’s official resort, that include car rental, business appointments, planning of social functions and top-rated gourmet services.
