Cubanacan Group Opens First SSI Course for Scuba Divers

On the heels of the agreement recently signed in FitCuba 2015 between Cubanacan S.A. and Divitour S.R.L. on behalf of SSI (Scuba School International), the first crossover course for diving instructors from all International Diving Centers run by this hotel company across the country will take place on June 2-5.

The venue of choice for this course will be the Zapata Marshlands, a place blessed with breathtaking natural locations and perfect conditions for this major meeting. The course pursues to invigorate the four diving centers nestled in this region, as well as other international diving centers run by the Cubanacan Group, such as those in Cayo Levisa, Jibacoa, Covarrubias and Marea del Portillo.

The working session includes theoretical presentations and practical lessons taught by the SSI’s Main House staff. Special heed will be paid to the new digital teaching method that revolutionizes the didactics of training, qualification and certification of diving instructors and scuba divers as compared to previous methodology.
