Dates for Cayman Islands Tourism Exchange Announced

George Town._ The Cayman Islands Tourism Association has announced the dates for the first annual Cayman Islands Tourism Exchange (CITE 2002) to be held May 2 – 5, 2002 in George Town, Cayman Islands.

The Cayman Islands Tourism Exchange replaces the Cayman Islands Marketplace and is the first trade event featuring scheduled business meetings organized by the Cayman Islands Tourism Association, which was formed in March 2001.

CITE 2002 offers a unique opportunity for Cayman Islands tourism operators to reach a target audience of key business suppliers and develop business with an extensive range of travel and tourism wholesalers and companies from Cayman’s major market.

The international travel buyers have the opportunity to source a wide variety of unique Cayman Islands tourism products, which will provide international visitors with some of the best holiday experiences in the world.

CITE 2002 offers a combination of pre-scheduled business meetings between wholesalers and Cayman suppliers, social functions and opportunities for the wholesalers to experience Cayman Islands tourism products first hand. Face to face business meetings and the relaxed networking functions provide the platform for all delegates to develop new and maintain existing relationships with key players in the Cayman Islands travel distribution chain.

Registration for the trade show is US$200.00 per buyer company (two delegates) and includes one official CITE supplier directory; inclusion of company details in CITE wholesaler directory, pre-scheduled appointments during CITE 2002; and attendance at all official CITE functions.
