Entries are now being accepted for the 2007 EIBTM Meeting and Incentive Industry Awards. These awards will recognize the contribution, creativity and dedication of a meeting and incentive professional and will help them achieve global recognition and exposure for their events and campaigns. The six categories will reward excellence, innovation, creativity and skill across all events and marketing campaigns.

This year marks the introduction of the all new Best Special Event category implemented to recognize the most imaginative and impacting stand alone events from Award’s Ceremonies to Charity Events.

The full list of six EIBTM 2007 Awards categories include Best Special Event, Best Conference (above 250 participants), Best Conference (below 250 participants), Best Product Launch, Best Incentive Program, and Best Marketing Campaign

Any type of event or marketing campaign falling under incentive travel, conference and meetings or corporate events is eligible for entry and Awards are open to in-house as well as external agencies. The event, product launch, conference, incentive program or marketing campaign must have run, taken place or finished between the dates of July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007 to be viable for entry.

Judging will take place before EIBTM 2007 by an international panel of consultants and suppliers from the meetings and incentives industry, together with editors of the supporting EIBTM global media partners including: Convegni, Conference and Incentive Travel, Meetings International, Events Russia, Events Germany, MICE International, Spain Travel & Business, Business Travel Benelux, Voyages et Strategie.

“Our Awards Judges will be looking for truly outstanding events and campaigns that are highly imaginative in concept and execution. Creativity, innovation, effectiveness and over delivery on the brief will all be key factors in the judges’ final decisions. The winners will be announced prior to EIBTM, with a formal VIP ceremony taking place during the event,” says Mandy Torrens, Event Director EIBTM.
