El Salvador to Host Tourism Ministers Meeting

El Salvador’s Minister of Tourism Ruben Rochi announced that the country will host the 8th Meeting of Tourism Ministers, Secretaries, and Commissioners, for the 18th Iberian-American Summit of Heads of State, which will be held next year in El Salvador.

The theme of the meeting –which will be one of the events laying the foundation for the meeting of heads of state- was to be decided in Santiago, Chile, this weekend.

This will be the first time in El Salvador’s history that a meeting of such magnitude, with presidents and heads of state in attendance. It also means San Salvador will host several preparatory ministry-level meetings.
