Elton John, Al Green to Headline Tobago Jazz Festival

Musical icon Sir Elton John, recording legend Al Green, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Gladys Knight, and Grammy winner LL Cool J are scheduled to perform at the Third Annual Plymouth Jazz Festival in Tobago.

From April 27 through April 29, 2007, Tobago invites visitors to catch the island fever with a weekend packed full of unforgettable performances set against the backdrop of what may well be the last undiscovered gem destination in the Caribbean.

The lineup, scheduled to include half a dozen more top international performers and other notable Caribbean artists, was recently announced at a media launch for the festival in Tobago where organizers promised a bigger and better show than previous years.

The venue, the Fort James/Plymouth Recreational Field, is an open-air seating area that will feature large screens to ensure a great view from any location.
