Event on tourist transportation unfolds this week in Cuba

Corporate people and experts from twenty countries dealing with motor vehicles, railroads, cruise companies and airlines have confirmed their attendance to the Second Meeting of Professional Tourist Transportation Entities scheduled for May 2 to 3 at Havana’s National Hotel.

Executives from travel agencies, workshops, carmakers and dealers, as well as from financial services, information technology, communications and insurance in over a dozen nations have already confirmed their participation. Delegations from Germany, Brazil, Canada, South Korea, the Dominican Republic, Spain, France, the Netherlands, England, Italy, Israel, Lebanon, Mexico and from all of Cuba’s transportation sectors will also be there.

Evidio Rodriguez, chairman of the organizing committee, pointed out the gathering will provide a framework for debate on such issues as quality, security and efficiency in the tourist transportation sector.

The event will likewise give attendants a chance to exchange experiences and concepts, and lay the foundations for new business opportunities as well.

To date, participants have signed for some 50 papers that will come together with an array of master lectures and workshops by top executives, scientists linked to the transportation sector and experienced workers, thus fostering collaboration among entrepreneurs from different countries.
