Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos to Open on Nov. 23

More good news continues to flow out of Los Cabos, with the announcement that yet another resort is up and running. On Nov. 15, the 249-room Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos welcomed a large golf group that took over the entire property. On Nov. 23, the resort will reopen to the general public.

Enrique Calderon, commercial director for Fiesta Americana, said the Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos was luckier that some other Los Cabos properties, as most of the damage was cosmetic.

He said a facelift that was originally scheduled for December was incorporated into the renovations to repair damage from Hurricane Odile.

Almost a year ago, Fiesta Americana converted the property into an all-inclusive. “We are finding that the all-inclusive trend is growing. People who are traveling to Mexico are looking for a new experience – and they’re looking for all-inclusive properties,” said Calderon.

Most importantly for Fiesta Americana, however, was distinguishing the Los Cabos property, as well as the company’s other all inclusives, from the competition. “We’ve built our own concept and have garnered a strong reputation from that concept,” said Calderon. “So that’s what we are very focused on – the experience and the satisfaction of our clients.”

In September, Fiesta Americana opened yet another all inclusive, the Fiesta Americana Cozumel. Also making its debut The Explorean Cozumel, one of two all-inclusive properties in the company’s soft adventure brand.
