Firefly Plantation Bequia to Open in the Grenadines

Firefly Villas, a collection of beachfront residences, plans to open 39 villas on the tiny island of Bequia in the Grenadines.

The villas will be serviced by the existing Firefly Plantation Bequia (pronounced Beck-wee), a boutique hotel consisting of four rooms and one cottage located on the 15-acre villa site.

The villas will be sold to buyers for their personal use or placed in the hotel rental pool when not owner-occupied. The first two-bedroom villas and a four-bedroom villa are slated for completion next fall.

Firefly Plantation Bequia is in Spring Valley, a mile from the main dock at Port Elizabeth and a short taxi ride from Bequia's airport, which is service by SVG Air from Barbados and St. Lucia. There is ferry service from St. Vincent as well.
