FITUR CONGRESOS 2006 to Inform International Buyers on Wide Offer of Congress Tourism

The seventh edition of the Meetings and Incentive Travel Workshop, FITUR CONGESOS 2006, which will be held from January 23 to 24 at the Madrid Fairgrounds, has prepared a wide program of activities and optional proposals.

The Pre-tour Program stands out amongst the activities running parallel to the trade fair. Therefore, international buyers will have the opportunity to take a firsthand look at a representative part of the products and services on show through the fair´s Pre-tours Program as well as to enjoy their tourist attractions.

This time around, the Pre-tours will take place between January 20 and 22, the weekend before the exhibition, and they will encompass some of the most emblematic sites in Madrid, Alicante, Cuenca, Extremadura, Galicia, Granada, Lanzarote, La Rioja, Pamplona and Navarre.

During the visits, the participants will get to know the settings that these destinations offer to house meetings of any kind, as well as their cultural, landscape and gastronomic riches.

The Madrid Convention Bureau, the Madrid Tourist Board and the Madrid Tourist Consortium have planned a series of visits that promise to be a small sample of the great tourism possibilities of the region.
