Madrid._ The International Tourism Fair (FITUR) will take place on the premises of Madrid’s Carlos I Fair Park. The event will be strictly professional and will hinge on the attendance of a significant number of representatives from all sectors within the tourist industry worldwide.

The fair will zero in on wholesalers, tour operators, transportation companies, official entities and associations, mass media, meetings, congresses and service-purveying enterprises.

Management of tourist enterprises, infrastructure and facilities, social and economic research, marketing, the environment, strategic planning, equipment technology for tourism, information technology and e-tourism will feature among the topics to be tackled during the five-day event.

Activities will be slotted in forums, lectures and the stands offering different services and products.

Ticket tags for professionals attending the fair will be 17 euros (IVA included) and 6 euros for the general public. The Madrid Fair is located in the city’s north side, just a five-minute drive from the Barajas Airport.

The fair will open for the general public on February 2 and 3 from 10:00am to 7:00pm and from 10:00am to 8:00pm on Saturday and Sunday respectively. For further information, click on www.fituronline.com
