Francesco Frangialli to Attend Venezuela´s International Tourism Fair

With a turnout of some 40 nations from around the world, Venezuela will throw its gates wide open to attendants to the International Tourism Fair, scheduled to take place between October 5 and 8 in Caracas. The tradeshow will be mounted in the facilities of the La Carlota Airport.

Venezuela´s major travel event will be officially opened by President Hugo Chavez, who will be accompanied by Francesco Frangialli, secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization (WTO).

The fair will also set the stage for the opening of the First World Tourism Summit, in which participants –featuring Tourism Ministers from more than a dozen countries- will tackle some of the travel industry´s most pressing issues.

Argentina, Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, India, South Africa and Cuba are some of the nations that have slated delegations for the oncoming event in the South American country.
