Future Sites, Dates of International Pow Wow Events Announced

Organizers of the ongoing International Travel and Tourism Fair (Pow Wow 2008), now celebrating its 40th anniversary since May 31 thru June 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada, revealed the full calendar for future editions from 2009 to 2011.

According to a copy of a press release that circulated among news media organizations covering the largest and most important travel and tourism tradeshow in the U.S., and obtained by Caribbean News Digital, next year’s edition will take place in Miami, Florida, from May 16 to 20, 2009.

At the same time, the 2010 and 2011 Pow Wow events will be held in Orlando, Florida (May 15 thru 19, 2010) and in San Francisco, California (May 21 to 25, 2011), respectively.

TIA’s International Pow Wow is the travel industry’s premier international marketplace and is the largest generator of international travel to the United States. Business meetings between U.S. travel suppliers and international buyers is expected to result in more than $3.5 billion in future travel to the United States.
