Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa has recently launched a new initiative, EcoSirenis. The program offers a wide variety of activities allowing guests to enjoy the hotel’s natural surroundings while also educating them on sound environmental practices.

“Sirenis Hotels & Resorts believes that the success of the tourism industry relies on continual preservation of the environment,” said Amanda Carlow, director of sales & marketing. “With the launch of EcoSirenis, we have taken an extra step by encouraging guest involvement in our green initiatives.”

For active vacationers, Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa now offers walking and biking tours through its newly created eco-trails. The paths were created to highlight the diversity of flora and fauna around the property.

One of these guided tours leads guests through brand new EcoSirenis Nursery. This conservation area is separated into five ecosystems and exhibits 22 different species of vegetation inherent to the region. The nursery helps to sustain and protect native plants that are at risk of extinction.

Grand Sirenis plans to launch more campaigns throughout the year, not only to reduce their own environmental impact, but also to increase public awareness and inspire guests to contribute in protecting our environment.

In addition to all of these exciting new eco-activities, Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spaoffers fun for everyone with its world class Spa, lazy river, snorkel tours, eight à la carte restaurants and more.
