Guatemala to Host Annual Central American Travel Market
The seventh annual Central American Travel Market (CATM) will take place Oct. 18 to 20, 2010 in Antigua, Guatemala. The trade show and conference will bring tourism boards, hotels, resorts, airlines and ground operators together with international wholesalers and tour operators.
The program is sponsored by INGUAT, the Guatemala Tourism Board, and will focus on subjects including the Mayans’ predictions for 2012; health and wellness tourism; adventure travel; archaeology; living cultures; beaches and reefs and nature and adventure.
“Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panamá will showcase the best tourism products they have to offer,” said Roberto Robles, director of INGUAT and president of the CATM 2010 National Organization Committee. “Over 60 exhibitors will be offering Central America’s best.”
