Habanarte Coming on September 3-13

Habanarte, the great festival of Cuban culture, has been forced to push its date forward, so it’s now slated to take place in Havana on September 3-13.

The event, organized by Paradiso, Artex’s cultural tourism agency, will be holding its second edition this year under the slogan All of the Art at Once, aimed at conquering Havana’s cultural life.

Boldface names of Cuban music will be playing the leading role in squares and nightclubs. Just like last year, Artex’s cultural centers will be hosting the activities of Habanarte: El Sauce, Café Miramar, El Salon Rosado de La Tropical “Benny Moré”,Submarino Amarillo, La Casa de 18, and Bertolt Bretch.

Besides the music to be played by bands included in the catalogues of Artex’s Musicalia and Clave Cubana agencies, this fiesta of Cuban cultural will also count in remarkable theater and dance groups, visual and applied arts and Cuban movies.

Prestigious museums have scheduled visits and special exhibits within the framework of the festival. The book and literature realm will be complementing regular spaces with launches of selected titles, all of them attended by their authors.

Increasing the knowledge in different cultural matters will also be possible by means of workshops to be given by the University of Arts and other Cuban institutions related to artistic education.

Habanarte, with its second edition, invites you to attend a mega-event that never showcases the same elements, but it always offers the very best.

2015 Habanarte stands out as an opportunity to enjoy all of the art at once and more.
