Hawaii State Tourism Conference Set for September

The Hawaii Tourism Authority has scheduled its Third Hawaii Tourism Conference for September 12 to 13 at the Hawaii Convention Center.

The meeting will continue with last year´s theme, “Aloha Aku, Aloha Mai - The Responsibility of Aloha,” and attendants can hear about visitor industry trends, what is happening in the global and local marketplace, and where the 2007 marketing plans are headed.

The tourism authority is the parent state agency for the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau and other organizations that handle tourism marketing to foreign markets.
